Skill sets required and Duties:
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request
- Support users with any technical issues and provide assistance whenever required.
- Assist in the implementation of projects as per the standards and policies.
- Assist in the awareness of users while implementing or enhancing a system that has resulted in any changes.
- Assist in resolving any technical issues reported by users.
- Escalates any problems that cannot be resolved to the head of group.
- Propose resolutions for common problems to reduce their reoccurrence.
- Inform users of any errors, updates, new facilities or any related changes which may affect the working trend.
- Assist in the Planning and budgeting process of IT operations.
- Installation of software and hardware upon request
- Assist in Conducting a survey for the evaluation of the user satisfaction level with the Help desk services provided.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by immediate director.
- Prepare reports whenever required for specific functions as requested.
- Propose and implement initiatives that help in improving the IT operations.
- Participate in projects whenever required.
- Supporting users for IT related issues.
- Maintain a virus free environment by monitoring and updating the AV on a daily basis.
- Desktop/Laptop/Printer support. Coordinating with vendor/service center for any failure/repair issues
- MO365 Mail, OneDrive, SharePoint administration and support.
- Network and Wi-Fi support
- Install and configure devices as per user requirement.
- Documentation for the change management.
- Maintain the IT related services records.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and document the activities and actions.
- Prepare the procedures for fast recovery in case of any failure.
- Monitor and initiate the scheduled backups on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Knowledge in supporting educational environment and know how to deal with trainees and trainer.
- Knowledge in dealing with multiple PC’s in classroom for multi format and installation.
- Knowledge in maintaining Data show and projectors.
- Knowledge in windows server, cisco switches and telephony system.
- Knowledge in Time & attendance system, access control and CCTV.
